Ann Catharine (Katie) was born on August 19th, 1789 in Prob Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Ann Catharine (Katie)'s father was John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and her mother was Nancy Shirer. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Sease and Susannah Anhaus. She had four brothers and six sisters, named John Frederick, John C., Martin, Henry, Eva Christina, Unknown Female #1, Unknown Female #2, Barbara, Eva Margaret and Mary Elizabeth. She died at the age of 85 on February 9th, 1875 in Lexington District, South Carolina. She was buried in Miller Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC.1 1 -
