Josiah Richard Wesley was born on April 23rd, 1830 in Lexington County, SC.1 Josiah Richard Wesley's father was John Frederick Sease and his mother was Elizabeth Bickley. His paternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Elias Starling, James Wiley, Jacob Anderson, David Isaiah, Frances Marion, Anna and Permelia Ann Luseda.
