Elias Starling Sease 
Elias Starling was born on October 10th, 1823 in Drafts Mill, Lexington County, South Carolina.1 Elias Starling's father was John Frederick Sease and his mother was Elizabeth Bickley. His paternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, James Wiley, Josiah Richard Wesley, Jacob Anderson, David Isaiah, Frances Marion, Anna and Permelia Ann Luseda. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 74 on January 6th, 1898.1 -
