Services for C. Kenneth Sease, 84, of the Lowman Home, formerly of
Charlotte, will be held Wednesday at 11 am in Dunbar Funeral Home,
Gervais Street Chapel, Columbia, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery,
Hartsville, at 2 pm. Visitation will be 10-11 am prior to the service.
There will also be a memorial service Sunday, Dec 22, 1996, at 1 pm at
Westminister Presbyterian Church, Charlotte, with Rev. Andrew M. Smith
officiating. Memorials may be made to the Lowman Home, White Rock, or to
Westminster Presbyterian Church, Charlotte.
Mr. Sease died Sunday, Dec 15, 1996. Born in Chapin, he was a son of the
late Noah Zebedee and Mary Frick Sease. He was a graduate of Columbia
High School and the University of South Carolina with a B.S. degree in
Accounting. He was a captain in the Air Force during World War II and
retired from the Exxon Corporation after 33 years of service. He was a
member of the Earlwood Masonic Lodge #371, A.F.M., and Westminster
Presbyterian Church, Charlotte.
Surviving are brothers, Fred Sease of Columbia, and Norman Sease of White
Rock; sister, M. Catherine Sease of Columbia; nephews, Heyward Sease of
Owatonna, Minn. and Karl Seaes of Irmo; and niece, Carol Averitte of
Charlotte.
