Waldo Ray was born on November 23rd, 1894.1 Waldo Ray's father was Jacob William (Will) Mayer and his mother was Mary Ella (Mallie) Sease. His maternal grandparents were John Leonard (Lyn) Sease and Martha Elizabeth Fike. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Floyd Terrence, Infant Son, Roy Herman, Blanche, Estelle, Willie May, Annie Lee and Martha Lena. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 on May 8th, 1896 in Bur St. Peters Piney Woods, Chapin, SC. He was buried in St. Peter's Piney Woods Church Cemetery, Chapin, SC.1 1 -
