His maternal grandparents were John Leonard (Lyn) Sease and Martha Elizabeth Fike. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Floyd Terrence, Waldo Ray, Roy Herman, Blanche, Estelle, Willie May, Annie Lee and Martha Lena. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died on September 14th, 1900 in Bur St. Peters Piney Woods, Chapin, SC. He was buried in St. Peter's Piney Woods Church Cemetery, Chapin, SC.1 1 -
