Jacob LaGrone 
Jacob was born in 1812.1 Jacob's father was Jacob LaGrone and his mother was Catherine (Kate) Riser. His maternal grandparents were Martin Riser and Christina Sease. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Emannuel, Martin, Daniel, George Washington, Jackson, Eva Christine, Martha, Elizabeth (Betty), Mary Frances (Frankie) and Susan Malinda. He was the second oldest of the eleven children.-
