David Leonard Halfacre 
David Leonard was born on February 8th, 1881.1 David Leonard's father was Benjamin Halfacre and his mother was Ann M. Sease. His maternal grandparents were John Leonard (Lyn) Sease and Martha Elizabeth Fike. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Freddie Henry, Crenshaw Burrow, Thomas Benjamin, John Howe, Mollie Sease, Bernice Maude, Ethel Lilly, Lottye Lee, Eunice O. (Carrie), Katie Christine and Martha Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 59 on May 17th, 1940 in Bur Clayton Mem Univ Cem, Newberry, SC.
