Bolling Grigg 
Bolling was born in 1796 in Mecklenburg County, VA.1 Bolling's father was Burwell Grigg and his mother was Sabra Elam. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Grigg and Nancy Webb. He had ten brothers and four sisters, named Bannister, John Elam, Jesse, Burwell, Abner, Edward, Frederick, Richardson, Daniel, Samuel, Phebe, Jane, Nancy and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the fifteen children.1 -
