Lucia was born about 1196 in Helmsley, Yorkshire, England.1 Lucia's father was Piers Fitz Herbert and her mother was Alice Fitz Robert. Her paternal grandparents were Herbert Fitz Herbert and Lucy of Hereford; her maternal grandparents were Robert de Clavering and Margaret de Cheney. She had a brother and a sister, named Reginald and Lucy. She died after 1266.1 General Notes
