Her maternal grandparents were Ephriam Walter Boland and Susan Bowers. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Clifton W., Edmund, Esther Beatrice and Lilla. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Harper, Blanche, Hattie, Johnnie and Maude.-
