Henry Daniel was born on December 5th, 1825.1 Henry Daniel's father was William McMillan Chitty and his mother was Mary Beard Sease. His maternal grandparents were Leonard Sease and Katherine E. Rizer. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Allen, James Leonard, Michael Seas, Miles McMillian, Oliver Perry, Lewellwn D, Leonard S, Sarah Ann Catherine, Mahala Louisa, Catherine, Louisa, Mary E and Rebecca.-
