Ruby Boland 
Ruby was born in 1920 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 Ruby's father was Jacob Frandlin Boland and her mother was Ella Viola Long. Her paternal grandparents were James Middleton Boland and Laura A. J. Koon. She had four brothers named James D., Leon C., Dewey F. and Edgar. She died at the age of 79 on September 13th, 1999 in Laurens County Hospital, Laurens County, SC.1 General Notes

RUBY PITTS
Newberry - Services for Ruby Boland Pitts, 79, will be held at 2 p.m.
today at McSwain-Evans Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Holy
Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the
funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Pitts died Monday, September 13, at Laurens County Hospital. Born
in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Franklin and
ella Viola Long Boland. She was a retired receptionist for Drs. Allen
and Irvin in Laurens and a member of Atonement Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a son, James Stanley Pitts of Kings Mountain, N.C.; a
daughter, Mavis Pitts Willis of Martin, Ga.; four grandchildren; a
great-granddaughter; her former husband, James Reeder Pitts of
Clarksville, Va.
