Jonas Benson Boland 
Jonas Benson was born on August 10th, 1842.1 Jonas Benson's father was John Adam Boland and his mother was Annie Hipp. His paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John Adam, Warn Preston, Andrew Pickens, Susanna, Mary Ann Elvira, Lenorah Cummings and Nora. He died due to Civil War at the age of 19 on August 9th, 1862 in Virginia. He was buried in Boland Cemetery #4, Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 1 General Notes
