Berley E. was born on June 18th, 1900 in Prosperity, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Berley E.'s father was John Adam Boland and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Unknown. His paternal grandparents were John Adam Boland and Annie Hipp. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William Quincey, Fairence, Clifton C., Roland, Bennie Lee, Leslie, Elizabeth, Ida and Connie Etta. He died at the age of 90 on June 23rd, 1990. He was buried in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC.1 1 General Notes
