Thomas Merriweather Woodson 
Thomas Merriweather was born on February 18th, 1824 in Hanover Co., VA. Thomas Merriweather's father was Archibald Pleasants Woodson and his mother was Nancy Daniel Anderson. His paternal grandparents were John Woodson and Mary Lightfoot Anderson; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Merriweather Anderson and Nancy Tillman. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Archibald Pleasants, William Anderson, Mary Jane, Sarah Elizabeth, Ariadne Gilmer, Pauline Randolph, Selina Helen and Archer Anna. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 in November 1904.-
