Mary Jane Woodson 
Mary Jane was born on August 6th, 1825 in Hanover Co., VA. Mary Jane's father was Archibald Pleasants Woodson and her mother was Nancy Daniel Anderson. Her paternal grandparents were John Woodson and Mary Lightfoot Anderson; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Merriweather Anderson and Nancy Tillman. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Merriweather, Archibald Pleasants, William Anderson, Sarah Elizabeth, Ariadne Gilmer, Pauline Randolph, Selina Helen and Archer Anna. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 57 in October 1882.-
