Nellie Thurston 
Nellie was born in 1900. Nellie's father was Alonzo Coleman Thurston and her mother was Laura Jane Lang. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel James Thurston and Ellen Jones Childress. She had five sisters named Elsie, Lucy, Margery, Daisy and Arthur. She was the third youngest of the six children.-
