Cecilia M. was born in 1844.1 Cecilia M.'s father was Obadiah Russell Stanley and her mother was M. Elizabeth Frances. Her paternal grandfather was Charles Stanley. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Lucius C., Timothy Thomas, William George, John A., Isabella L., Adeline Ellen, Jane Frances and Hanover Susan. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
