Atwell M. Stanley 
Atwell M. was born on January 7th, 1820 in Hanover Co., Virginia. Atwell M.'s father was John Stanley and his mother was Hannah Wright Hall. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Stanley and Jane Walton. He had three brothers and a sister, named Henry Bentley, John Pettis, Bolling Fleming and Maria Mills. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 72 on July 16th, 1892.General Notes
