Thomas Spencer 
Thomas was born on February 14th, 1849 in "Ashleigh", Centerville, Queen Anne Co., MD. Thomas' father was William Alexander Spencer and his mother was Catherine Murray Carmichael. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Spencer and Elizabeth Thompson; his maternal grandparents were William Carmichael and Sarah Downes. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William Carmichael, Julian Murray, Charles McGill, Catherine Carmichael, Sarah Elizabeth, Elizabeth Murray and Lottie. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 1 on July 22nd, 1850.-
