Catherine Carmichael Spencer 
Catherine Carmichael was born on December 29th, 1835 in Centerville, Queen Anne Co., MD. Catherine Carmichael's father was William Alexander Spencer and her mother was Catherine Murray Carmichael. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Spencer and Elizabeth Thompson; her maternal grandparents were William Carmichael and Sarah Downes. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William Carmichael, Julian Murray, Charles McGill, Thomas, Sarah Elizabeth, Elizabeth Murray and Lottie. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 21 on May 27th, 1857.-
