John Newton Shepherd 
John Newton was born in 1834. John Newton's father was Martin B. Shepherd and his mother was Martha Sclater. His paternal grandparents were David Shepherd and Mary Garland Baskett; his maternal grandparents were Richard Sclater and Margaret Sydenham Payne. He had five siblings of unknown gender named ?, ?, ?, ? and ?. He died at the age of 32 on August 15th, 1866.-
