James R. Sclater

James R. was born in 1834. James R.'s father was Robert Sclater and his mother was Janetta Massie. His paternal grandparents were Richard Sclater and Margaret Sydenham Payne. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William H., Richard J., Morton G., Hamilton S., George G., Mary A. and Louisa E.. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
