Sarah A. Rowe 
Sarah A. was born about 1859 in Monroe Township, Fremont Co., Iowa. Sarah A.'s father was David P. Rowe and her mother was Alameda Holloway. Her paternal grandfather was William Rowe; her maternal grandparents were Pleasant Holloway and Permelia Stanley. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Pleasant William, John Samuel, David Lemual, Ezekiel, Daniel, Candace L., Hannah L. and Alameda J.. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died on September 19th, 1909 in fire at St. Caroline Hospital, Redding, California, where she was a student nurse.-
