Hannah L. was born about 1853. Hannah L.'s father was David P. Rowe and her mother was Alameda Holloway. Her paternal grandfather was William Rowe; her maternal grandparents were Pleasant Holloway and Permelia Stanley. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Pleasant William, John Samuel, David Lemual, Ezekiel, Daniel, Candace L., Alameda J. and Sarah A.. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
