Pleasant William Rowe 
Pleasant William was born on January 14th, 1848 in Monroe Township, Fremont Co., Iowa. Pleasant William's father was David P. Rowe and his mother was Alameda Holloway. His paternal grandfather was William Rowe; his maternal grandparents were Pleasant Holloway and Permelia Stanley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Samuel, David Lemual, Ezekiel, Daniel, Candace L., Hannah L., Alameda J. and Sarah A.. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 86 on May 7th, 1934 in Sutter Co., California. He was buried in Yuba City Cemetery, Sutter Co., California.-
