Vladimir Alexandrovich Romanov

Vladimir Alexandrovich was born on April 10th, 1847.  Vladimir Alexandrovich's father was Alexander II Nicholoevich Romanov and his mother was Marie von Hess-Darmstadt.  His paternal grandparents were Nikolai I Pavlovich Romanov and Alexandra (Charlotte) Hohenzollern. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Nicholas Alexandrovich, Alexander III Alexandrovich, Alexis Alexandrovich, Serge Alexandrovich, Paul Alexandrovich, Alexandra Alexandrovna and Marie Alexandrovna.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named George, Olga Yourievsky and Catherine.
