Alexander III Alexandrovich Romanov

Alexander III Alexandrovich was born on February 26th, 1845.  Alexander III Alexandrovich's father was Alexander II Nicholoevich Romanov and his mother was Marie von Hess-Darmstadt.  His paternal grandparents were Nikolai I Pavlovich Romanov and Alexandra (Charlotte) Hohenzollern. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Nicholas Alexandrovich, Vladimir Alexandrovich, Alexis Alexandrovich, Serge Alexandrovich, Paul Alexandrovich, Alexandra Alexandrovna and Marie Alexandrovna.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named George, Olga Yourievsky and Catherine.  He died at the age of 49 on November 1st, 1894 in Livadia, Crimea, Near Yalta, Russia.
