Alexandra Alexandrovna Romanov

Alexandra Alexandrovna was born on August 18th, 1842.  Alexandra Alexandrovna's father was Alexander II Nicholoevich Romanov and her mother was Marie von Hess-Darmstadt.  Her paternal grandparents were Nikolai I Pavlovich Romanov and Alexandra (Charlotte) Hohenzollern. She had six brothers and a sister, named Nicholas Alexandrovich, Alexander III Alexandrovich, Vladimir Alexandrovich, Alexis Alexandrovich, Serge Alexandrovich, Paul Alexandrovich and Marie Alexandrovna.  She was the oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named George, Olga Yourievsky and Catherine.
