Mathew J. Pryor 
Mathew J. was born in 1787 in NC. Mathew J.'s father was Mathew J. Pryor and his mother was Mary Neeley. His paternal grandparents were Green Pryor and Elizabeth Perkins; his maternal grandparents were William Neeley and Eleanor ?. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, Green Hill, Phillip, Samuel, John Henry, Seth and Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 in 1869.-
