Susan Francina Pendleton 
Susan Francina was born on July 24th, 1851. Susan Francina's father was Edmund Monroe Pendleton and her mother was Sarah Jane Thomas. Her paternal grandparents were Coleman Pendleton and Martha Gilbert; her maternal grandparents were Micajah Thomas and Elizabeth Anne Turner. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Edmund Monroe, Philip Thomas, William Micajah, James Coleman, Francis Rittenhouse, Nathaniel Aubrey, Mary Louise, Adeline Marian, Eliza Anne and Emily Augusta. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.-
