James Coleman Pendleton 
James Coleman was born on May 28th, 1853. James Coleman's father was Edmund Monroe Pendleton and his mother was Sarah Jane Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Coleman Pendleton and Martha Gilbert; his maternal grandparents were Micajah Thomas and Elizabeth Anne Turner. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Edmund Monroe, Philip Thomas, William Micajah, Francis Rittenhouse, Nathaniel Aubrey, Mary Louise, Adeline Marian, Eliza Anne, Emily Augusta and Susan Francina. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 on August 25th, 1929.-
