Nancy Tebeau was born on August 13th, 1917. Nancy Tebeau's father was Nathaniel Dandridge Pendleton and her mother was Beatrice Walton Childs. Her paternal grandparents were Philip Coleman Pendleton and Catherine Sarah Melissa Tebeau; her maternal grandparents were Walter Cannon Childs and Edith Smith. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Philip Childs, Willard Dandridge, Martha Childs and Jean Lowrie. She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-sister named Ora Cornelia.-
