James William Pendleton 
James William was born on September 7th, 1809.1 James William's father was Benjamin Pendleton and his mother was Elizabeth Strother. His paternal grandparents were William Pendleton and Elizabeth Fargeson; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Strother and Catherine Price. He had a brother and a sister, named Benjamin Strother and Catharine Thornton. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 40 on June 5th, 1850.1 -
