Thomas Rickard was born on October 21st, 1918.1 Thomas Rickard's father was Charles Almond Pearson and his mother was Mary Rickard Pendleton. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Strother Pendleton and Mary Hart. He had two brothers named Charles Almond and John Strother. He was the youngest of the three children.-
