William Payne 
William was born on August 10th, 1692 in Westmoreland Co., VA. William's father was William Payne and his mother was Elizabeth Pope. His paternal grandparents were John Payne and Margaret Robbinson; his maternal grandparents were Humphrey Pope and Elizabeth Hawkins. He had a brother and two sisters, named Edward, Elizabeth and Mary. He had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Daniel, Dennis, Thaddeus, Billington, Anne, ?, Anna Barbara, Katherine, Sarah and Winifred. He died at the age of 84 on August 24th, 1776 in Fairfax Co., VA.-
