Mary Nicholas 
Mary was born in 1759. Mary's father was Robert Carter Nicholas and her mother was Ann Cary. Her paternal grandparents were George Nicholas and Elizabeth Carter; her maternal grandparents were Wilson Cary and Sarah Pate. She had six brothers and three sisters, named George, John, Wilson Cary, Lewis, Robert, Philip Norborne, Sarah, Elizabeth Carter and Judith. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 37 in 1796.-
