John Carter Nicholas 
John Carter was born in 1725. John Carter's father was George Nicholas and his mother was Elizabeth Carter. His maternal grandparents were Robert Carter and Judith Armistead. He had two brothers and a sister, named George, Robert Carter and Virginia Carter. He was the oldest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Lewis, ?, Carter, Robert Carter, Elizabeth and Judith. He died at the age of 65 in 1790.-
