Martha B. was born in 1826. Martha B.'s father was Abraham Naish and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Butler. Her paternal grandparents were John Naish and Frances ?; her maternal grandparents were James McGehee Butler and Sarah Christopher. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John Wesley, Thomas F., Frances C., Dicey C., Mary T., Sarah Caroline and Sophia Ann. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
