Joseph Mosby 
Joseph was born in 1724. Joseph's father was Jacob Mosby and his mother was Susanna Cox. His paternal grandparents were Edward Moseley and Sarah Woodson; his maternal grandfather was Nicholas Cox. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Stephen, George, Robert, Phebe, Agnes and Amy. He was the oldest of the seven children.-
