George Mosby 
George was born in 1749. George's father was Jacob Mosby and his mother was Susanna Cox. His paternal grandparents were Edward Moseley and Sarah Woodson; his maternal grandfather was Nicholas Cox. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Stephen, Robert, Phebe, Agnes and Amy. He was the second youngest of the seven children.-
