William Meriwether 
William was born in 1760 in Louisa Co., Virginia. William's father was James Meriwether and his mother was Judith Hardenia Burnley. His paternal grandparents were David Meriwether and Anne Holmes; his maternal grandparents were Hardin Burnley and Ann Winston Terrell. He had two brothers and a sister, named David, James F. and Ann. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 82 on February 10th, 1842 in Hickman Co., Kentucky.-
