Ann Turnstall was born on September 14th, 1782. Ann Turnstall's father was Walker Maury and her mother was Mary Stith Grymes. Her paternal grandparents were James Maury and Mary Walker; her maternal grandparents were Ludwell Grymes and Mary Dawson. She had two brothers and a sister, named James Walker L., Leonard Hill and Mary Stith. She was the youngest of the four children.-
