Ann was born about 1725 in Washington Parish, Westmoreland Co., VA.  Ann's father was John Marshall and her mother was Elizabeth Markham.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Marshall and Martha Sherwood; her maternal grandfather was John Markham. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Markham, Sarah, Mary, Margaret and Elizabeth.  She died in 1781 in Fauquier Co., VA.
