Mariah Nox Layne 
Mariah Nox was born on May 5th, 1810 in Gerrard Co., Kentucky. Mariah Nox's father was Tarlton Layne and her mother was Tabitha Minter. Her paternal grandparents were Ayers Layne and Mary Woodson; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Anthony Minter and Elizabeth ?. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Woodson, William Minter, Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy, Roxannah and Tabitha. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 96 on September 29th, 1906 in Linnsburg, Indiana.-
