Elizabeth Layne 
Elizabeth was born on March 28th, 1788 in Powhatan Co., Virginia. Elizabeth's father was Tarlton Layne and her mother was Tabitha Minter. Her paternal grandparents were Ayers Layne and Mary Woodson; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Anthony Minter and Elizabeth ?. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Woodson, William Minter, Mary, Nancy, Roxannah, Tabitha and Mariah Nox. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 61 on July 1st, 1849 in Crawfordsville, Indiana.-
