Alphra Mildred Lawrence 
Alphra Mildred was born on February 29th, 1860 in Hanover Co., VA. Alphra Mildred's father was William Quarles Lawrence and her mother was Mary Etta Woodson. Her paternal grandparents were Lewis Lawrence and Sarah A. Terrell; her maternal grandparents were John Peter Woodson and Evelina Britton. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Abbott Alpheus, John William, James Quarles, Bernard Ashby, Infant, Walter Lewis, Mary Lewis and Etta Woodson. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 85 on January 13th, 1946.-
