George Hunter 
George was born about 1780. George's father was Stephen Hunter and his mother was Mary Statham. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Hunter and Jane ?; his maternal grandparents were Love Statham and Martha Meriwether. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Charles, William, Samuel, Nancy, Mary, Mildred and Martha. He was the youngest of the nine children.
