Emily B.'s father was George Holman and her mother was Molly Jordan Payne. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Burton Payne and Margaret Sydenham Morton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named George Payne, William H., Susan Brockenbrough, Lucy G. and Martha H.. She died before March 15th, 1847.-
